Georgian Vice PM to deliver speech at Romania int'l conference

Georgian Vice Prime Minister Giorgi Baramidze is on a visit to Romania. The conference Border Cooperation for 2007-2013 of Black Sea countries- instrument of European neighborhood and partnership will be held in Bucharest.

The Georgian delegation, which represents representatives of government and non-government circles, as well as representatives from Ajaria, is headed by Vice Prime Minister Giorgi Baramidze.

Representatives of Black Sea countries, European Commission and international organizations from region will attend the conference. The conference is aimed to improve relations among countries of Black Sea region.

The Vice Prime Minister will deliver a report on the cooperation in the region. Baramidze will focus attention on the strained relations between Georgia and Russia, Georgian-Russian war and the possibilities to liberate Georgian territories.

Baramidze will leave Bucharest for Prague to sign a new regional initiative of the EU Eastern Partnership.
