Azerbaijan, Baku, May 20 / Trend / Georgian President Micheil Saakashvili is on a two day official visit to Baku, the Azertaj state information agency reported. Azerbaijani First Vice Prime Mister Yagub Eyubov and other state officials of Azerbaijan welcomed the Georgian President at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport. A protocol meeting took place between the Georgian President and the Azerbaijani First Vice Prime Minister. The Georgian delegation involves Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze, Economy Development Minister Lasha Zhvania, Energy Minister Alexander Khetaguri and other officials. During the visit to Baku, Saakashvili will meet with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, Prime Minister Artur Rasizade and Speaker Oktai Asadov. |
The objective of Georgian President's visit is to deep bilateral relations and review a wide range of issues, the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported.
