The Political Council of the Labor Party sent the appeal to the UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and the permanent members of the Security Council with a request to withdraw the text where Georgia and Abkhazia are mentioned separately from the so-called interim report of the secretary general.

On May 21, party leader Shalva Natelashvili said at a news conference that this fact calls into question not only Georgia's territorial integrity recognized by the UN, but also adversely affects the reputation of the organization. Natelashvili said this fact could encourage separatists in the whole world.

"We wonder why we have heard about this innovation from the members of the delegation of the separatist governments of Abkhazia and South Ossetia, and what did Saakashvili's embassy in the UN do at this time, specifically, a representative of Saakashvili, plumber and surrogates Soros, Kakha Lomaia," Natelashvili said.

Natelashvili said Saakashvili's leadership will answer for everything.
