An informal summit of the heads of four countries to be held in Aktau on Sept.11 will not consider the issues on the status of the Caspian Sea and division of the seabed, official representative of the Kazakh Foreign Ministry, Erzhan Ashikbayev said.

The Aktau summit will not consider the status of the Caspian Sea. Its consideration is possible only with participation of all five Caspian littoral countries on the pentalateral basis, Ashikbayev said. The meeting of the four countries' presidents will be the summit of an informal character, so the circle of issues to be considered is wide enough.

The summit does not have a concrete agenda, Ashikbayev added. According to Ashikbayev, the summit will examine the issues of Kazakh President, Nursultan Nazarbayev's upcoming Baku visit and realization of strategic projects, such as construction of railway to Iran, construction of gas pipelines to Chine and etc.
