Georgians in France will hold a rally in Paris during Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin's arrival to the city. The diaspora minister reported that the rally will take place at 5:00 p.m. Paris time Nov. 27.

The minister urged Georgians living abroad to support the rally and remind the world that "Russian troops are still in Georgia and tomorrow their army could be in their countries if Russia's imperialism is not curbed today."

"Europeans, be careful, because a ghost of Soviet Communism still haunts Europe," he said. "Do not forget that the war in Georgia is your war, too. Today Georgia is at the forefront of the struggle for democracy and freedom, and its victory will be a victory for Western values, that is your victory."
