Chairman of the Azerbaijani Parliament Oktay Asadov will participate in the Third World Conference of Parliamentary Speakers, to be held in the Swiss city of Geneva July 18-22, the Azerbaijani parliament spokesman Akif Nasirov told media.
"The work of the parliaments of the countries with the UN, as well as the strengthening of trust between the people and the parliament will be discussed at the conference", Nasirov said.
He said that head of the Azerbaijani parliament will meet with speakers from several countries.
The Azerbaijani delegation includes chairman of the parliamentary committee on international relations and interparliamentary relations Samad Seyidov, head of the Azerbaijani Parliament office Safa Mirzayev and others.
The Azerbaijani parliament press-service head said that a resolution will be adopted as the result of the conference.
