On December 23, former Georgian President Eduard Shevardnadze made a telephone call to President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev.
Eduard Shevardnadze congratulated the Head of State on his 50th anniversary, wished him successes in his presidential activity and robust health.
The Head of State thanked the former Georgian President for the congratulations and attention.
During the phone conversation, friendly relations between Eduard Shevardnadze and the national leader were recalled.
