Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on Wednesday inaugurated the State Maritime Administration`s new building.
The State Maritime Administration of Azerbaijan pays special attention to studying and introduction of the experience of maritime transport administration of foreign countries. The Administration cooperates both with the International Maritime Administration (IMO) and also with the International Labor Organization (ILO), European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA), the Organization of Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC) and other world structures.
Chief of the State Maritime Administration Gudret Gurbanov reported to the President.
As stated, the new building has been equipped with update facilities.
President of Azerbaijan got acquainted with photo stand narrating on national leader Heydar Aliyev`s merits to develop maritime transport in the republic.
The Head of State inspected the maritime navigation center with its modern technical equipment, conference halls and high profile staff, which is, as stated, the first as such in the Caspian littoral states.
