The delegation of the Baku branch of the International Institute of Monitoring Democracy Development, Parliamentarism and observance of Suffrage of citizens of states - participants of CIS Interparliamentary Assembly (IPA CIS IIMDD) will go to the North Caucasus and Southern Federal Districts of Russia on Feb 13 for the long-term monitoring of organization and holding of presidential elections in Russia to be held on March 4, the press-service of the Baku branch told Trend on Friday.

Group of observers which includes Deputy Secretary General of the CIS IPA Council, permanent representative of the Azerbaijani Parliament to this organization Aydin Jafarov, director of the Institute's Baku Branch Elman Imamaliyev, employer of the branch Teimur Muradov and two experts will go to Stavropol krai and Krasnodar krai.

During the visit the group's members will meet with heads of krais and cities as well representatives of the election commissions. The group will hold monitoring of activities of the election commissions, registration of candidates, activities of political parties, election campaign, mass media.

Progress report will be prepared after the initial results of the long-term monitoring of organization and holding of the presidential elections.

The visit will last till Feb.20. For observance of presidential elections and preparation of the final report this observance group will again pay a visit to Russia.
