President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has opened today the Central Hospital in Gusar.
The Head of State cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the hospital.
President of the State Oil Company of the Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR), MP Rovnag Abdullayev said the foundation of the 170-bed hospital was laid in 2008 with participation of President Ilham Aliyev. Construction of the facility was funded by SOCAR. The hospital has been provided with necessary medical equipment.
The foyer houses a photo gallery reflecting care and attention of national leader Heydar Aliyev and President Ilham Aliyev to development of healthcare in Azerbaijan.
The Head of State was told all wards in the hospital meet modern standards.
After touring the hospital, President Ilham Aliyev met with the facility`s staff members and local residents.
Doctor of the hospital Natavan Khamedova thanked President Ilham Aliyev for his care and attention to development of healthcare in Gusar region.
