The agitation campaign for the municipal elections due on October 6 in Azerbaijan was completed on October 5, Trend reports with reference to the Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan (CEC).
The candidates are prohibited to meet with their voters and hold agitation campaigns. According to the Electoral Code of Azerbaijan, the agitation campaign of candidates should be completed 24 hours prior to the elections.
4,525 candidates will fight for 1,931 places in the municipal elections.
