Christian Estrozi, Minister for the regional planning of France is expected to arrive to Baku on December 9, a source in the French Embassy to Azerbaijan told Trend.
The French Minister will pay his visit due to the invitation from the Ministry of Emergencies.
Mr. Estrozi is expected to visit the grave of Azerbaijan Ex-President His Excellency Heydar Aliyev and Shahidlar Khiyabani (Martyrs Alley). Later he will meet Kamaladdin Heydarov, Azerbaijan Emergencies Minister. The aim of the forthcoming visit of the French Minister is to prepare for an agreement on cooperation in the sphere of civil defense to be signed between Azerbaijan and France. This issue will be discussed during the meeting which will be held between the two ministers.
The visit of the top ranking French guest will be concluded on December 10.
