Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend /President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev decreed on publishing the works of renowned representatives of the world literature in Azerbaijan language in 150 volumes and in series of the "World Literature Library".
The relevant ministries and departments are assigned to take measures for implementation of the Presidential Decree
In compliance with the order of the President from 12 January 2004 and from 27 December 2004 works of renowned and Azerbaijani literature were published in large print and were distributed to libraries. These books have been published not for sale, which deprived bibliophile possibility to enrich their libraries in Latin language.
Due to order of the President these books will be sold. The Azerbaijani Cabinet of Ministers was ordered top submit proposals regarding publishing of World Literature Library taking into consideration the recommendation of the Culture and Tourism Ministry, Education Ministry, National Academy of Science and the Azerbaijani Writer Association to the President within a month.
