(showbizspy.com) - According to reports, troubled 'Wedding Crashers' actor Owen Wilson spent Sunday evening with singer Jessica Simpson - on what is claimed to be their first date.
Sources at Santa Monica's Huntley Hotel saw them arrive separately and chat for over an hour before leaving.
However, last week, Simpson was reportedly seen out with Dax Shepard (who recently split from Owen Wilson's ex-girlfriend, Kate Hudson) who she met on the set of film Employee Of The Month.
"Dax and Jessica met when they were filming together and really liked each other, but nothing ever happened," claimed a source.
"They kept in touch, and as soon as they both became single, there's been some serious flirting going on."
"Dax made the first move. He just thought, 'Why not?' Jessica was thrilled when he asked her out."
