Azerbaijan, Baku /corr. Trend E.Huseynov, Y.Aliyev / On 20 December, the day of sacred Muslim holiday Gurban, the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, became familiarized with the reconstruction of mosques Tezepir and Ajer Bey and complex Bibi-Heybat.
During visit to mosque Tezepir, the Head of Caucasus Muslim Department, Sheikh Ul Islam Haji Allah Shukur Pashazade, said that the gross area of the complex is 7600 sq.m., but the construction is being carried out in the territory of 6000 sq.m.
The State Head of Azerbaijan became familiarized with the hotel, conference hole for 300 people, Baku Islam University, new administrative building for Caucasus Muslim Department and other facilities and was satisfied with the construction works.
Sheikh Ul Islam said that the reconstruction of mosques Tezepir and Ajer Bey will be completed by 2008.
In addition, the President imposed a task to expand the complex and roads around Bibi-Heybat.
