Azerbaijan to Experience Unstable Weather
Azerbaijan, Baku, 13 March / Trend corr E. Huseynli/ From 13 - 16 March Azerbaijan will be experiencing unstable weather, the deputy head of the National Hydrometeorology Department at the Azerbaijani Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry Umayra Tagiyeva told Trend on 13 March.
According to Tagiyeva, for the next three days it will rain in many regions, with sleet in the mountainous areas, and the snow at intervals.
Heavy rains and strong western winds are expected to take place in several regions with a drop in temperature of 3-5 decrees. The water level in several rivers will rise and floods may occur in mountainous areas.
Tagiyeva said that the drop in temperature, the prevalence of overcast and damp weather in the Absheron Peninsula from the evening of 13 March to the morning of 15 March will have a negative effect on the health of meteosensitive people.
