"Baku is a wonderful city. Visiting Baku I felt how the Turkish world pays huge attention to may creativity," Aytmatov said in the Kirgizstan Embassy.
Aytmatov stated that he visited Baku for a weak. "During the visit I met with the President Ilham Aliyev and had a conversation. We could communicate for a long time, but I did not want to take his time much," he said.
Touching upon the culture in Azerbaijan, Aytmatov said today Azerbaijan experiences its new development and phrase. Azerbaijan takes one of the leading positions, like Turkey in the Turkish world. There is Elazig city in Turkey where I paid a visit. I felt something familiar between Baku and Elazig," Aymatov said.
