Azerbaijan, Baku, Dec.11 / Trend M. Aliyev /
Common principles of Law "On ceremonies", which will cover the rules of the organization of wedding and commemoration ceremonies in Azerbaijan, will be ready for the spring session of the Parliament, the chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Culture Nizami Jafarov told Trend.
According to Jafarov, this law envisages ordering of the activities undertaken during the wedding and commemoration ceremonies. The idea of preparing the law arose in connection with the shortages and problems in this sphere.
At present, Committee on Culture jointly with the Social Policy Committee are preparing a separate laws "On ceremonies" and "On memorials, places of pilgrimage and remembrance."
"Due to the fact that the commemoration ceremony is a process, and the cemetery is considered as a monument, it is impossible to combine these two issues in one law," Jafarov said.
The law will be aimed at addressing the negative effects occurring during the commemoration ceremonies, beginning with the burial and ending with the commemoration dinner.
