President Ilham Aliyev on February 9 got acquainted with the reconstruction works in the religious complex "Imamzade" located in the area of the Ganja State Historical-Cultural Reserve, AzerTAj state news agency reports.
The Head of State was presented a sacred Koran.
The Head of the State spoke of the state care on sacred places for pilgrimage, holy shrines and religious sanctuaries.
As known, the President of Azerbaijan had issued an Executive Order on repair, reconstruction and renovation of the religious complex "Imamzade" and allotted from the President Reserve Fund AZN 3 million for these works.
The President gave certain instructions on the works carried out at the complex.
