Azerbaijan solves more than 99 percent of crimes in the military field

Some 99.1 percent of crimes in the Armed Forces and other statutory armed compounds in Azerbaijan is solved, the military prosecutori Khanlar Velyev said at the board meeting on Thursday.
According to Khanlar Veliyev, there is a 6.7 percent decline in the number of crimes in the Armed Forces and other military compounds, 7.1 percent in crimes against military service, 11.8 percent in crimes with regard to insubordination, 4.5 percent in crimes with regard to the violation of constitutional relationships, 25.9 percent in desertion, 31.6 percent in crimes related to the rules for handling weapons and items that represent high risk to others, 23.1 percent in crimes related to violation of machine control and rules of operation, 5 percent in non-military crime, 16.2 percent in crimes against property, 66.7 percent in disorderly conduct, 11.3 percent in the deaths in armed compounds, 76.9 percent in incitement to suicide. There was no abandonment of the military unit and place of service in a combat situation.
The number of certain types of crimes increased past year, military prosecutor said.
Numbers of grave and especially grave crimes that have occurred in military were solved.
Seventy one person wanted by the police were found and prosecuted.
