BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 15. The cost of paid services rendered to the population in Azerbaijan increased by 15.2 percent from January through August 2023 to 7.1 billion manat ($4.1 billion) year-on-year, Trend reports.
The data of State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan shows that legal entities in Azerbaijan rendered services to the population for 5.3 billion manat ($3.1 billion) in the mentioned period, which is 75.4 percent of the total volume of rendered services.
The volume of paid services per capita averaged 706 manat ($415) from January through August 2023, which is 145 manat ($85) more year-on-year.

The value of paid services rendered to the population in Azerbaijan in 2022 increased by eight percent year-on-year and amounted to 9.2 billion manat ($5.4 billion). According to the agency, legal entities in Azerbaijan provided services to the population for 7 billion manat ($4.1 billion) in the mentioned period, which is 75.9 percent of the total volume of services provided.
It should be noted that the value of paid services rendered to the population in Azerbaijan in 2021 increased by 4.8 percent year-on-year and amounted to 7.7 billion manat ($4.5 billion).
