(dpa) - The price for crude oil produced by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) was down by 59 cents by the end of the week, OPEC said on Monday.
One barrel (159 litres) of OPEC-produced crudes stood at 99.77 dollars on Friday, compared to 100.36 dollars on Thursday, the Vienna-based OPEC secretariat said.
OPEC calculates an average basket price based on 13 important brands produced by cartel members.
