Azerbaijan, Baku, 15 April / Trend corr U. Ismayilova/ The portfolio of Joint Leasing, the largest leasing company of Azerbaijan, comprised some AZN 60mln in 2007, the Director General of Joint Leasing Elchin Ahmadov said on 12 April.
"We intend to expand our portfolio through diversification of the economic sectors with which we work," he said.
According to Ahmadov, the company's plans for 2008 also include expansion of the range of services. Joint Leasing intends to offer automobile and commercial property leasing to its clients.
At present, Joint Leasing is negotiating with the most active players of the international institutions in Azerbaijan's market for drawing funds.
Joint Leasing was founded by the International Bank of Azerbaijan and the British Dolphin Leasing (52.3%). The company's authorized capital makes up AZN 700,000. Its maximal interest rate on leasing transactions varies up to 19% with the payment term of up to 3 years and advance payment comprising 20-25%.
