Suspension of night flights in the Heydar Aliyev International Airport will not affect the cost of tickets or number of passengers, the Azerbaijan Airline Company (AZAL) first Deputy President Sabir Ilyasov said.
The Heydar Aliyev International Airport will stop night flights excluding state, sanitary, rescue, humanitarian and forced landing since July 2.
"The airport stops night flights in order to provide calm rest for citizens during night. This experience is used in many large airports and meets normative and legal acts of Azerbaijan," Ilyasov said.
The Baku Airport will receive flights since 7:00 to 23:00. All airlines were informed of the Heydar Aliyev International Airport's decision.
