The Azerbaijani Ministry of Taxes plans to continue placing of computer terminals to service tax payers over 2009- 2010, the Ministry's service department on tax payers Elchin Mammadov said on May 1.
Presently, roughly 15 terminals were placed in territorial tax agencies.
Computer terminals are planned to create in all regions within state program on social-economic development of regions over 2009-2013. We plan to complete this process in 2010," Mammadov said.
Regions with great number of tax payers have advantage while placing terminals.
Over 55 percent (roughly 385,000) tax payers submit declarations in E-format on four kinds of taxes by introducing tax terminals. Head of department said that number of terminals will increase.
"It a very good index. Major goal was to achieve submission of declarations in E-format by tax payers and we are reaching it," the ministry's representative said.
E-declaration is being introduced in accordance with national strategy on communication and informational technologies over 2003-2012. Establishment of E-government is indicated in the document. Tasks are set for all state agencies.
Introduction of tax terminals characterizes transfer to a new stage in improving service of tax payers via new technologies.
