The Azerbaijani Taxes Ministry revealed tax legislation violations by 2,097 taxpayers, the ministry said on May 8. Operative supervision measures took place on April 1 - May 3.
In this period, 902 taxpayers violated rules of cash accounts and 124 taxpayers received a foreign currency as a payment means. This operative measures revealed 272 taxpayers who operated without registration at the tax administrations and 487 taxpayers functioned at places which requires a special permission.
The ministry officials revealed at 64 taxpayers that they drew 64 individuals without signing labor agreements with them. Some 88 taxpayers carried out passenger conveyance without receiving a differential signs and 147 people conducted purchase-sale operations of currencies at public places.
To supervise over using excise marks, the officials revealed that 13 taxpayers tried to sell 1,091 goods worth 5179.5 manat without relevant marks.
On May 8, the official exchange rate is 0.8035 manat to $1.
