The Turkmenobahyzmat Public Association plans to sign a contract with the Umax Trade GmbH Company (Germany) for the purchase of 300 Tucano 430 combine harvesters as well as spare parts, tyres, lubricants and consumables.
A presidential decree states it will serve the purpose of successful implementation of reforms in agriculture, as well as harvesting in a shorter time with no loss of grown wheat.
It is planned to put 1.6 million tons of wheat in the Turkmen granaries in 2013. Over 1.2 million tons was harvested in Turkmenistan in 2012.
The Turkmengallaonumleri Association of Bread Products is allowed to send the harvest surplus in excess of domestic requirements to foreign markets.
