Within the framework of collaboration with the Baku 2015 European Games and in accordance with the company strategy to promote healthy lifestyle and sports, Nar Mobile launches another project - the Open Door Days in the sports federations of Azerbaijan.
First series of such events took place on March 5 in the Volleyball Federation and the secondary school # 44. The event has been attended by 150 children and teenagers as well as their parents. The participants were actively involved in various relay events and sports competitions. All participants were awarded the gifts from Nar Mobile.
"The Open Door Day in the Volleyball Federation have become the first event in the list of events planned by the company in the framework of partnership with the Baku 2015 European Games," Nigar Arpadarai, Head of PR and Corporate Communications Unit of Nar Mobile, said.
"We have already agreed with several sport federations, so the next event will take place at the Karate Federation of Azerbaijan. It is also planned to arrange meetings of children and teenagers with coaches of other federations. The aim of event is to open up opportunities for schoolchildren and their parents to know better the sports they are interested in, talk with coaches that could eventually pick up some future sport stars among youngsters".
Mr Elshan Ismaylov, Secretary General of the Azerbaijani Volleyball Federation emphasized that a sound health and a good sport's preparation of children and teenagers are the important elements of the national sustainable development.
"Our main task is to advance sports' values and stimulate the interest to sports. Organization of such events is important for everyone," he said.
