Trading volume of shares on Kazakh stock exchange increases

In January-June 2018, trading volume of shares at Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) made up 94.4 billion tenge, increasing by 4.2 percent against January-June 2018.

The volume of shares trade decreased by 47.2 percent compared to July-December 2017.

In January-June 2018 the volume of trading in corporate bonds on Kazakh Stock Exchange (KASE) made up 420.3 billion tenge, increasing by 4.2 times year over year, KASE said in a message.

In comparison with July-December 2017 the corporate bond trades volume decreased by 60.1 percent.

KASE holds licenses for conducting banking operations in national and foreign currency, as well as carrying out activities in the securities market (including activities for organizing trading with securities and other financial instruments and clearing transactions).
