Over 24,000 Kazakhs signed up for compulsory social health insurance

The amount of accumulated savings on health insurance in North Kazakhstan Region exceeded 3.9 billion tenge, Trend reports via KazInform.

Some 24,900 of payers make transfers for compulsory social health insurance. The transfers are made in the benefit of 211,200 people that live in the region.

Payers receive the refunds of paid sums for people that members of the concessional group. These are the working pensioners, invalids, women with several children and so on.

Starting from January 2019 a person can join the compulsory health insurance by paying Unified Cumulative Payment (UCP). Some 1,430 self-employed people have joined the UCP. Total sum of payments exceeded one million tenge.
