Tamilla Mammadova – Trend:

Turkish furniture manufacturer Assia will launch a furniture company in Georgian Natakhtari in August with an investment of $2 million, Trend reports via Georgian media.

As the founder of the Assia company, Omer Faruk Demirtas explains, the company will first focus on the local market, and then export the furniture to the international markets.

"The plant is fully equipped with European, modern equipment and it will work mainly on raw materials imported from Turkey," he said.

As he noted, after some time, the partners plan to export Georgian furniture to European countries.

"We have experience in exporting furniture to Europe from a company operating in Turkey, and after launching in Georgia, we will export furniture to Germany, France, and the UK, especially in the conditions that we will be able to easily export products from Georgia to Europe within the DCFTA," said the founder of Assia.
