The activities of 31 industrial enterprises in the Markazi Province (central Iran) have been resumed from the beginning of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2021) to Sept. 19, Chairman of Industry, Mine, and Trade Organization of Markazi Province Saeed Jafari said, Trend reports citing the organization’s website.

The chairman noted that these enterprises did not operate for many years due to a number of problems, including obsolescence of equipment, lack of raw materials, lack of liquidity and working capital.

Jafari added that 550 people were provided with jobs with the resumption of activities of these enterprises.

"Furthermore, the activities of 159 enterprises were restored in the Markazi Province over the last Iranian year (March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021). At present, 183 enterprises do not operate in the province and necessary steps are being taken to resume their activities," he said.
