A draft On Medicines is expected to be put forward to the Azerbaijan Parliament for their consideration during the Autumn session, the Social and Political Issues Permanent Commission of the Milli Majlis informed Trend today.
The Commission said that since the corresponding law connected with medicines does not meet today's requirements, a new law is now in preparation. Furthermore, the draft has already been discussed in the Parliament and MPs have put forward their proposals.
Taking the proposals into consideration, a working group has made certain amendments to the document. It was pointed out that the draft was reconsidered and then prepared by the members of the Commission and employees of the Health, Justice, and Finance Ministries of the Country. This law will define legal and organizational basis of the use of medicines.
Later, the draft was submitted to the Azerbaijani Parliament for their consideration.
