So, we want a group of Latvian businessmen to visit Azerbaijan in April so that not to lose this tendency. We hope that Azerbaijani businessmen who are keen on cooperation will also visit Latvia," the Minister added.
Latvia possesses unique experience in transition from GOST standards of the former Soviet Union to European Union. "If Azerbaijani businessmen are interested in trading with the EU, it would be easier to study experience of other countries, such as Latvia, which has similar history. "We had transited to this system from 2002 to mid-2006, while after 10-15 year all problems will remain in the past," Strods noted.
