SOCAR's Heydar Aliyev (former Azneftyanajaq) Oil Refinery in Baku produced 101,500 tons of liquefied gas in January-August, compared to 119,000 tons in the same period of 2008.
18,000 tons of liquefied gas was produced at the refinery in August, compared to 15,000 tons in July.
SOCAR produced 181,130 tons of liquefied gas in 2008. 145,030 tons of liquefied gas was produced in 2007. Al of the liquefied gas produced was butane-butylene fraction.
The volume of butane-butylene fraction hit 148,220 tons in 2006. This figure was 129,620 tons in 2005.
Butane-butylene fraction was not produced at this refinery in 2008, not has it been for the last two year. The volume of butane-butylene fraction produced was 3,020 tons in 2005.
