Romanian market is attractive for SOCAR in terms of selling its oil products produced at the refinery. The company intends to build a refinery in Turkey, SOCAR head Rovnag Abdullayev told press on Tuesday.
He said that SOCAR intends to sell its oil products produced at this refinery at the markets close to Turkey, particularly Romania.
One of the reasons is the opening of SOCAR filling stations in Romania, he said.
SOCAR head said that he intends to take part in the opening of several filling stations in the country soon.
The foundation laying ceremony of a new plant in Turkey will be held on October 25.
