Export of Turkmen refinery’s products increases

The Turkmenbashi complex of oil refineries increased the processing indices in 2017, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reported Jan. 17.

The complex includes two enterprises in the cities of Turkmenbashi and Seydi.

Big batches of gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuel, fuel oil, petroleum coke, lubricating oils and other products were shipped for export from the Turkmenbashi complex.

“Total cost of exports of the enterprise increased by 36.3 percent in 2017 as compared to the same indicator in 2016,” says the article.

The enterprise’s products are delivered to Russia, Germany, Spain, Italy, Japan, China, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, Afghanistan and other countries.

Turkmenistan plans to bring the capacity of refineries up to 20 million tons of oil by 2020, up to 22 million tons – by 2025, and up to 30 million tons – by 2030.
