SOCAR expands gas stations network in Romania

Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR has opened a new gas station in Romania, thus bringing the total number of its filling stations in this country to 43, Trend reports citing Romanian media.

This is the first gas station opened in Romania’s Satu Mare city, according to the report.

Currently, the SOCAR has filling stations in 20 counties of Romania, including Botosani, Bihor, Vrancea, Cluj, Valcea, Arad, Sibiu, Brasov and others, said the report.

SOCAR Petroleum SA Romania was founded January 30, 2011 to manage the purchase and sale of petroleum products in Romania and provide supply services that meet international standards and a diversified transportation infrastructure.

SOCAR Petroleum SA Romania does business under the SOCAR label.

SOCAR is the sole producer of petroleum products in Azerbaijan. The company also has filling stations in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Ukraine and Switzerland.
