Oil exports through the Shahid Rajaee port in the southern Iranian province of Hormuzgan during the 11 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2019 to February 19, 2020) increased by 26.7 percent compared to the same period last year, said Allahmurad Afifipur, head of the Shahid Rajaee special economic zone, Trend reports citing Young Journalist Club (YJC).
According to Afifipur, more than 8.56 million tons of oil was exported during the same period.
The official pointed out that through the Shahid Rajaee port 31.1 million tons of non-oil products were exported.
"Some 3.35 million tons of non-oil products were transshipped through this port, which is an increase he said.
"Some 46.7 million tons of non-oil products were transported at the Shahid Rajaee port, and 24.1 million tons of oil products were transshipped," the official added.
