Nearly 50 million tons of chemical and petrochemical products were produced in Iran during the first 11 months of last Iranian year (from March 21, 2019 through February 19, 2020), Trend reports citing Iran's Ministry of Industry, Mines and Trade.
According to the report, production increased by 1 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.
More than 4.4 million tons of polyethylene were produced in 11 months, which is an increase of 9 percent compared to the same period year before last.
The below-mentioned table shows details of the main chemical and petrochemical products manufactured in Iran. The weight of products is shown in 1,000 tons.
