BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 11. Kazakhstan is ready to assist TotalEnergies SE in implementing investment plans for the country's oil and gas industry, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov said during a meeting with Senior Vice President Renewables at TotalEnergies SE Julien Pouget, Trend reports citing the government.

Thus, the meeting discussed the company's oil and gas activities in Kazakhstan, implementation of wind energy projects, and steps taken to decarbonize the economy.

TotalEnergies SE is one of the largest investors of Kazakhstan, which is actively involved in the Kashagan and Dunga projects. Moreover, the company has implemented two solar energy projects in the country's Kyzylorda and Zhambyl regions.

"Kazakhstan commends the company's interest and stands ready to assist in implementing its investment plans for the oil and gas sector," the prime minister said.
