BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 25. Iran’s non-oil exports through the customs of Qom Province (northern Iran) amounted to over 295,000 tons of goods worth about $263 million, during the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through December 21, 2022), Director General of Qom Province Customs Office, Esfandiar Derikvandi told IRNA, Trend reports.

Derikvandi noted that the non-oil exports through the province’s customs for the reporting period increased by 28.5 percent in value compared to the same period last Iranian year.

He added that the main exported non-oil products via the customs of province were food products, industrial products and household appliances and etc.

The official said that the products were exported to 35 countries, including Iraq, Afghanistan, the UAE, Türkiye, Pakistan, Turkmenistan, Syria, Russia, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan.

“In addition, 51,400 tons of goods worth approximately $268 million were imported through the customs of Qom Province within 9 months. The imported goods were mainly essential products and etc.,” Derikvandi pointed out.
