“In 2006 Azerigaz will receive around 12.4bn cu m gas,” Alikhan Malikov, the chairman of Azerigas JSC, told Trend.
According to Malikov, 4.5bn cu m of the importing gas will fall to Russia, 4.9bn cu m - SOCAR. The figures were included into the FEC balance sheet of the country for 2006.
In 2006 the Company will receive 3bn cu m gas within the project on development of the Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli field. Azerigas intends to pump 1bn cu m gas to underground the gas reservoirs Garadag and Kalmaz for gas supply of population in 2006-2007 winter season.
Maalikov noted that in 2005 4.5bn cu m gas was imported to the country. 4.5bn cu m more gas produced from fields of SOCAR was directed to the Company. Azerigas received 800m cu m gas within the ACG project.
