Work on Commissioning the Installations for Gas in Sangachal Terminal Complete
The technical work on the installation for receiving gas from gaseous condensate field Shah Deniz and Sangachal terminal are continuing. They will be completed in the near future, Trend reports with reference to BP Azerbaijan.
Upon the completion of this work, the first well will continue its work. At present, connecting the second well in the platform TPG-500 is taking place, the same source told.
After the renewal of the production, the gas received from the well will be directed towards returning the gas debts to Azerbaijan, which is used for pressuring Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipeline. The approximate volume of the gas used for these goals equal 36 mln cu.m.
All of the gas received from the first well will be sold to Azerbaijan. In the future the gas produced due to the launching of other wells will be sold to Georgia and Turkey. Generally 4 wells have been drilled in the field within this program.
