The value of gross domestic product (GDP) in Iran’s industrial sector increased by 8.1 percent over the last Iranian year (from March 20, 2020 through March 20, 2021), compared to the preceding Iranian year (from March 21, 2019 through March 19, 2020), Trend reports citing the report of Central Bank of Iran (CBI).
According to the report, the value of GDP in the services sector amounted to about 835 trillion rials (about $19.9 billion) at stable prices in 2011.
Meanwhile, in the preceding Iranian year, this figure was 772 trillion rials (about $18.3 billion), the report said.
Moreover, the share of the services sector in Iran's gross domestic product was 18.1 percent within the last Iranian year, the report said.
The value of Iran's GDP increased by 3.6 percent in the last Iranian year, compared to the preceding year. So, the value of the GDP amounted to 6.35 quadrillion rials (about $151 billion).
Excluding oil, this figure was 5.5 quadrillion rials (about $131 billion).
