BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 27. The Baku branch of the National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) completed the third quarter of 2022 with a net loss in the amount of 349,480 manat ($205,576), Trend reports via the bank’s financial report.
According to the report, the bank's net interest income for the reporting period amounted to 198,210 manat ($116,594) and was formed by interest income of 198,300 manat ($116,647) and interest expenses of 90 manat ($52).
Meanwhile, the Baku branch of NBP's non-interest income amounted to 73,840 manat ($43,435), while its non-interest expenses reached 651,100 manat ($383,000).
The deduction of the bank's special reserve for compensation of possible losses on assets amounted to 29,580 manat ($17,400)
The banking license No. 248 of June 30, 2005, issued to the NBP Baku branch was revoked on a voluntary basis, following the decision of the Management Board of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) dated October 11, 2022.
