BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 29. Azerbaijan's Gunay Insurance OJSC completed 2022 with a net loss of 1.2 million manat or $710,000 (before tax payment), Trend reports citing ‘Respublika’ newspaper.
According to the company’s report, its total income amounted to 8.69 million manat ($5.1 million), including investment incomes of 177,250 manat ($104,260), income from subrogation – 231,210 manat ($136,010), and other incomes – 609,710 manat ($358,650).
The company's expenses totaled 9.9 million manat ($5.8 million), including expenses for conducting activities – 5.07 million manat ($2.9 million), and other expenses – 149,570 manat ($87,980).
As of January 1, 2023, the total assets of the company equaled 16.3 million manat ($9.5 million), total liabilities – 7.07 million manat ($4.16 million), and total capital – 9.2 million manat ($5.4 million).
The OJSC started its activities by being registered under certificate No. 235 dated September 4, 1992, issued by the Ministry of Finance. On August 14, 2008, perpetual license No.042483 was issued by the ministry.
Currently, the company provides its clients with the services of 19 types of optional and four types of mandatory insurance.
