BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 25. The Money Supply Rate (М2) as of June 1, 2023, increased in Azerbaijan by 4.9 billion manat ($2.8 billion), or 19.7 percent in comparison with the same period last year growing from 25.3 billion manat ($14.8 billion) to 30.3 billion manat ($17.8 billion), Trend reports.
According to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), the cash supply in circulation (M0) increased by 2.7 billion manat or $1.5 billion (24.23 percent), over the year increasing from 11.2 billion manat ($6.5 billion) to 13.9 billion manat ($8.1 billion), while the broad money supply (M3) rose by 4.3 billion manat or $2.5 billion (11.81 percent) to 41.3 billion manat ($24.2 billion) against 37 billion manat ($21.7 billion) a year earlier.
The transaction money (M1) per year increased by 3.8 billion manat or $ billion (17.59 percent), growing from 21.8 billion manat ($12.8 billion) to 25.7 billion manat ($15.1 billion).
