Azerbaijan airs state budget earnings from chargeable services

BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 22. According to operational statistics, Azerbaijan's state budget collected 822.9 million manat ($483.5 million) from paid services of institutions and organizations funded by the state budget in 2023, Trend reports.

According to Azerbaijan's Ministry of Finance, the growth rate was 2.3 percent, or 18.8 million manat ($11 million) higher than in 2022.

Other state budget receipts for the reporting period totaled 495.9 million manat ($291.4 million), which was 7 percent, or 37.3 million manat ($21.9 million), less than planned revenues.

According to the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, the value of paid services supplied to the Azerbaijani population increased by 14 percent in 2023 compared to the same period in 2022, reaching 11.4 billion manat ($6.6 billion).

In the aforementioned time, Azerbaijan's legal entities offered services to the population worth 8.6 billion manat ($5 billion), accounting for 75.8 percent of the overall amount of rendered services.

The volume of paid services per capita in 2023 averaged 1,123 manat ($659.9) which is 204,8 manat ($120,3) more than in 2022.
