BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 23. According to operative data, revenues from Azerbaijan's consolidated budget in the first quarter of 2024 amounted to 12.6 billion manat ($7.4 billion), Trend reports.
Additionally, budget expenditures in the reporting period were executed for about 9.2 billion manat ($5.4 billion).
A surplus of 3.3 billion manat ($1.9 billion) was formed in the consolidated budget in the first quarter of 2024.
To note, according to the data of the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan, in 2023 the revenues amounted to 50.3 billion manat ($29.5 billion), which is 16.9 percent or 7.2 billion manat ($4.2 billion) more than forecast, and in comparison with the indicator of 2022, the growth amounted to 16.8 percent or 7.2 billion manat ($4.2 billion).
